Sokolniki Park saw the Crawlers Race within the framework of BabyFest. A five-track strip for the little runners, or, to be more precise, the little crawlers, was set up to hold the 6-9-month-old athletes.

Parents were facing a tough job of urging their offspring to persevere until the finish line. In order to focus the infants’ attention, parents were allowed to use a wide range of means from rattles to tablets.
“We are going to use a laptop,” said one of the moms trying to calm down her fidgeting Ivan. Some mothers and fathers created outstanding sportswear for their champions. Metro was charmed by the little Andrei in a dragon’s outfit. The symbol of the year had brought him victory.
“We have been training especially for this contest,” the champ’s mother shared the secret of Andrei’s success. “And our extraordinary costume instilled confidence and courage into our hearts.”
